The vast majority of federal employee donations to non-profit organizations through the CFC for Coastal Georgia are made through payroll deduction.  The CFC for Coastal Georgia begins receiving payroll deductions in January of each year for pledges made during the preceding campaign.  For example, in January 2010, the Coastal Georgia CFC began receiving payroll deductions from pledges made during the 2009 campaign, which ended December 15, 2009.

The CFC for Coastal Georgia notifies all non-profit organizations that received pledges of the estimated amount that they can expect to receive by a deadline established by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).  For the 2009 CFC, the deadline to notify non-profit organizations of the estimated amounts is March 15, 2010.
